Next Thursday, I’m honored to be the keynote speaker at the Moms in Business Unite Conference, which will showcase mom inventors and mompreneurs who are growing successful businesses in an uncertain economy. I’ve also been working closely with the organizers and Kimberly Clark to make the Atlanta event, and all the conferences in the five-city series, a success.
One of my “passions” is empowering other women and moms like me to succeed at whatever goal they have in mind. There are so many women- and mom-owned businesses, with the struggling economy playing a role in recent years. On the flip side, there are many more women and moms who have a business idea or invention yet to be launched or patented! That’s what started the idea for a series of Moms In Business Unite conferences spanning the country. Atlanta, San Diego, Denver, Boston, Detroit, in that order.
These conferences started in San Diego a few years ago and achieved terrific reviews and attendance, which meant it was time to spread the wealth of information. With Kimberly Clark’s Huggies® MomInspired™ as a sponsor, the conference is packed with information, networking opportunities and my personal favorite, an inventor’s showcase. The speakers are women and moms who will share tangible action plans for moms to start their businesses, bring their inventions to market, get a product in front of large retailers and cover many other educational business topics.
