As parents, we try our hardest to make sure our children learn everything they need to in order to be successful in school. We support them through after-school activities and sports and try our best to make sure they are well rounded. Not all schools can offer a wide range of programs for our children anymore; while this is not ideal, thankfully we as parents can provide these opportunities for them as well.
Art Education is often a program that schools struggle to fund and in our busy schedules, it can be hard to find art classes for our children. Sean Roach, a national children’s TV personality on Sprout and accomplished artist, has an iPad app to help encourage every child to find their inner artist. Sean Draws: Things That Fly encourages the artist in every child and the child in everyone through the power of drawing. As the host of the Sunny Side up Show and Noodle and Doodle on Sprout and NBC, Sean Roach knows children, but he is also a children’s educator, as well as a professionally trained and accomplished designer and painter. He brings all of these talents together in an interactive app with features that inspire an endless array of pictures and stories, created through the imagination.
WithSean Draws: Things that Fly, children can interact and enhance Sean’s watercolor drawings and create their own. Features of this app include:
- Ten of Sean’s watercolor drawings captured in amazing time-lapse video
- Hands-on control of the video for forward or backward replay
- 40 sticker images to add-on and make drawings your own
- Drawing mode includes eight different colors that may be blended or added to Sean’s drawings
- Magic Reveal button allows you to wipe-to-reveal Sean’s original drawings
- Save and send pictures to family and friends
- Big, kid-friendly navigation that’s easy and fun to use
Drawing is an enormously empowering activity that enables us to express our emotions and activate our imaginations and Sean Draws: Things that Fly does exactly that for children between 3 and 10 years old. To download the app, visit Run Wild Studios.
Sean Roach will also behosting his interactive “Sean Draws” show on MomTV on April 20th and May 18th at 12pm ET. “Sean Draws…” offers a unique one-on-one chance for your child to interact and draw with Sean Roach and learn about his app.Visit MomTV and add “Sean Draws…” to your calendarso you don’t miss this live opportunity to see and interact with Sean.
