The long-awaited unveiling of the new Fantasyland at Walt Disney World is almost here! I was lucky enough to be invited to a preview event and the experiences were fantastic! In what is the largest expansion in the history of the Magic Kingdom, Fantasyland is opening in phases. The new area will be almost double the size of the original Fantasyland, with two new areas; Enchanted Forest opening on November 19th with a grand opening on December 6th and Storybook Circus which is now open. For an overview from Disney, watch this short video:
Beginning in late 2012, you can meet some favorite Disney Characters in Enchanted Forest, where you’ll be immersed in the popular Disney films The Little Mermaid and Beauty and the Beast. Here, you can venture through lush landscapes, discovering roaring waterfalls and royal castles along the way.
