The Garbage Pail Kids are back! This beloved pop culture brand launched a brand new series this week, including 55 new characters trading card stickers. 
Largely popular in the ’80’s, the brand new series of Garbage Pail Kids still offers edgy and endearing characters featuring clever puns, witty parodies, and exaggerated interpretations of childhood fears come to life.
Now you can become a Garbage Pail Kid! To celebrate the launch, 5 lucky fans will be immortalized as a Garbage Pail Kids character in an upcoming series.
To be eligible to win the “Be A Garbage Pail Kid” sweepstakes, pick up a pack of Garbage Pail Kids at Walmart, Target, Dollar Tree or other stores when Garbage Pail Kids are sold. 50 Golden Code cards have been randomly inserted in the packs. Each can be redeemed for a box of free product and a chance to be one of five grand prizewinners. The grand prizewinners will have a character named after them and they will be painted by one of the Garbage Pail Kids artists and included in a future set! Winners will be announced at the beginning of 2013.
