Recently, I traveled to Chicago to attend a mom mixer at a new Primrose School in Algonquin, IL. With several area moms and their children, we enjoyed a fantastic day touring the school and discovering the reasons why Primrose Schools are an excellent choice in education. Throughout our tour with Laura Daniel, the school’s mission and philosophy – “With The Right Foundation, Anything Is Possible” – were evident.
For over 30 years, Primrose schools have encouraged learning through play. Each classroom is equipped with activities designed to stimulate, develop, and support children ranging in age from infants to 12 years old. These schools, if you haven’t heard of them before, are amazing!

“I can not stress enough how beautiful the classrooms were – unlike any that I have ever seen before! And just to give an example of how stimulating the classrooms and teachers were, my son, who has never been left out of my care (or a relative’s care) was so enamored with his surroundings that he didn’t even blink when I walked out of the room to take the tour. He immediately engaged with the instructor and I was able to slip out, unnoticed. I was shocked…and, admittedly, a little sad. No screams. No meltdown. No tears. Wow.”
