Dana Wharf Sportfishing and Whale Watching has been seeing blue whales daily for over a month and guarantee if you do not see whales or dolphin you get a whale check to come back anytime for free. We went on a two hour outing and were thrilled to see a dozen blue whales on our outing and almost a dozen dolphins as well. Relaxing with the ocean breeze and our friends made for the perfect ambiance as we watched these miraculous creatures in their natural habitat.
It was interesting to learn that blue whales are the largest mammals on earth with a maximum growth of near 100 feet in length. We had four children in our group and they were completely entertained on our two hour cruise. Of course seeing the common dolphins swimming around the boat was beyond exciting for them as was trying to keep track of the abundant whales that seemed to follow our boat. Knowing the blue whales would take their deep dive for krill made it more thrilling to watch and we experienced the ultimate finale by seeing the fluke on the whale’s final dive.
Tickets for this ocean adventure at Dana Wharf Sportfishing and Whale Watching are $35.00 for adults and $20 for children, but you can save 50% on your tickets on Tuesdays all year long. Snacks and beverages are also available for purchase and if you get lucky, they sometimes run a special on certain items.
